Eye Candy is Here!
My favorite item from the CHA Winter Show is finally here! Creative Imaginations Eye Candy are Swar0vski Crystals for your scrapbook pages. They come in two sizes and in 15 different colors. They are so much more "bling-y" than rhinestones! They are sold individually (25 cents for the small and 60 cents for the large).

Lots of new and fun stuff!
Cricut Spatulas are finally back in stock! We just got them in this morning and have sold 8 today, so if you have been waiting for one I would hurry in to pick one up.
Puffy Velvet Markers from Marvy Uchida, these bright colorful markers puff up when you use a heat tool on them. (I have been playing with one this morning and have discovered you need to let the ink dry for about 30 minutes to get the best "puff")
Gelly Scented Embossing Powders...Ok these are the most imaginative new product I have seen in a long time. They come in fragrances like bubblegum, cherry, and lilac and really smell true to life! The scent lasts for up to three weeks so these would be ideal for card making, I think it would be so fun to use a House Mouse stamp with the little mice eating cherries and have it be cherry scented! There is also Candy Cane and Pine scented so I am already busy planning out my Christmas cards.
Bazzill In Stitch'z...we are all stocked up on these supplies and even have a few new templates...garden, flourish, dog, and cat!Posted by Carla at 12:20 PM 0 comments

It's here! Wow! This line looks even more fabulous than I remember (unfortunatley my batteries are dead so I don't have a photo). The colors are just fantastic; pink, lime, aqua, and my favorite color of all...glitter!

CHA Winter Show
Last week I was lucky enough to go to the Craft and Hobby Association Winter Show in California. First of all it was so great to get away from the frigid temperatures here in Minnesota (the temperature there was in the 80's!). Secondly, being able to see and order all the newest products for the store is always great. Also I was able to attend a variety of classes about the scrapbook industry including one about blogging...v'iola here it is.

Intro
Wow! I am excited to get this blog up and running. This will be your go to place for all things new and upcoming at True Colors.
Let me introduce myself, I am Holly Lederer and I have been the store manager here for almost 2 years. I love to scrapbook but like most people I find it difficult to always find time for it. I have been married to my wonderful husband Roger for a year and half now. I feel like most of my friends are getting married and having babies so there is always something big on the horizon for us. When I am not working or attempting to scrapbook I like to watch reality tv, classic movies (I love Audrey Hepburn), play board games, plan vacations to Disney World, spend time with family and friends, during the summer you will usually find me outside playing bocce ball or croquet.
I hope this blog will be a place for communication between myself and all of our loyal customers.
