More from CHA...

Creative Imaginations:

Eye Candy- bring on the bling! In May we will be getting these gorgeous Swarovski crystal elements. These outshine and out sparkle regular rhinestones by a long shot. These little crystals will be sold individually. You will have to see these in person to fully appreciate how luxorious these look.

Best Creations:

This is one of my favorite little companies, I love their glitter papers! This booth has some great project samples and had new lines such as patriotic, easter, winter, graduation, and halloween.

Provo Craft:
New Cricut cartridges!!!!

We will be getting Pooh and Friends and Pooh Font (this one also has baby Pooh images...so cute!) suggested retail is $99.99 but we will sell them for $69.99!

Cricut is also releasing eight Creative Solutions cartridges;Stone Script, Street Sign, Indie Art, Baseball, Soccer, Home Accents, Camp Out, and Wedding. The fonts have both upper and lower case and the shape cartridges have 50 shapes. The suggested retail on these is $49.99 but we will sell them for only $39.99!

More from CHA!

K&Company:

Berry Sweet-this is an adorable line for little girls, with the bright colors, glitter, and great patterns (think sock monkeys and owls) it feels very fresh and fun!

Sea Glass-I saw many new beach lines at the show but this one has to be my favorite. The papers have a distressed and vintage feel to them but they look modern enough to be used on current photos as well as any vintage photos you may have of your family at the seaside.

Blue Awning-this collection reminds me of K&Co.'s Addison line from a couple years back with the navy blues and sage greens but this line has some great specialty papers with foil and embossing!

CHA Winter Show

Last week I was lucky enough to go to the Craft and Hobby Association Winter Show in California. First of all it was so great to get away from the frigid temperatures here in Minnesota (the temperature there was in the 80's!). Secondly, being able to see and order all the newest products for the store is always great. Also I was able to attend a variety of classes about the scrapbook industry including one about blogging...v'iola here it is.

The big highlight of CHA for me was meeting Brenda Walton (of K&Company fame) and meeting Tim Holtz and getting to watch him create a work of art.

I ordered lots of new and exciting products that should be arriving here in the next couple months.
Some things to look for are:
My Minds Eye:

Wild Asparagus-this update of on old favorite includes a beautiful shimmer on many of the accessory pieces, the classic thick & textured paper of the previous Wild Asparagus collections, and subtle pastels and earthtones.

Just Dreamy-this is a paper only line with two color collections that will be perfect for scrapbooking your kids and teenagers.

29th Street Market-this is a complete colletion featuring distressed papers and accessories in a wide variety of themes.

Intro

Wow! I am excited to get this blog up and running. This will be your go to place for all things new and upcoming at True Colors.
Let me introduce myself, I am Holly Lederer and I have been the store manager here for almost 2 years. I love to scrapbook but like most people I find it difficult to always find time for it. I have been married to my wonderful husband Roger for a year and half now. I feel like most of my friends are getting married and having babies so there is always something big on the horizon for us. When I am not working or attempting to scrapbook I like to watch reality tv, classic movies (I love Audrey Hepburn), play board games, plan vacations to Disney World, spend time with family and friends, during the summer you will usually find me outside playing bocce ball or croquet.
I hope this blog will be a place for communication between myself and all of our loyal customers.
